The Expander System is a simple,
cost
effective, and a permanent solution to pivot
wear.

How it Works
1) After replacing the bushing
or bearing, the Expander System is
fitted directly into the worn pivot.
2) When the fasteners are
tightened, the tension washers press
the slotted expansion collets up the
tapered ends of the pin axle.
3) The collets expand, conform
with the wear pattern and lock the
System in the pivot lugs.

Now is the time to
install the Expander System and
permanently stop the wear process. The
installation is simple and the expansion
sleeves easily seat in the lug ears.

YELLOW
Wear from 0.08" -
0.16", 2-4 mm
The wear process
is accelerating and the window before
the maximum wear reaches 0.16 inch (4
mm) is closing. The expansion sleeves
accommodate a difference between the
minimum and maximum wear of 0.06 inch
(1.5 mm).

RED
Wear above 0.16",
4 mm
If the difference
between the minimum and maximum wear is
less than 0.06 inch (1.5 mm) the
Expander System is installed with
special oversized sleeves. If the
difference is more, the hole must be
"clean cut" before installing the
System. Even at this point the Expander
System is the best and most cost
effective solution.
